Don de Baron

The Netherlands

It’s who? Don! Neighbor, son, friend and partyboy pur sang. He’s the radiating sunshine at murky events, recognizable by his signature white glasses and exuberant moves. One could say he’s the adopted son of Jules Deelder, being the “night mayor” of his generation.

He got picked up about a decade ago by NoizBoiz, the first Dutch grime and dubstep formation and made his way in the scene as backup MC and overal hyper hype man. NoizBoiz dropped their second album ‘Organized Chaos’ in 2012, on the unique ‘Gunfinger’ USB stick. They also received the ‘one minute of fame’ in ‘De Wereld Draait Door’ on Dutch national television and a special place in the heart of co-host Nico Dijkshoorn.

From there the last man in every battlefield also focuses on different solo projects. For example, Don de Baron hosted various events such as; De Grote Prijs, Solar Festival, Mysteryland, Q-base,Subway, Vunzige Deuntjes and several festivals. In addition, he is MC at Dubstep, Electro, House, Trap, Grime, Hiphop, Tekno and Techno parties. Interaction is his specialty, he basically is your Cup-a-Soup at 4 o’clock at night and ensures that you do not stand still.

Don does not stand still on the musical front either. He is currently working on several projects in collaboration with, among others, Nouveau Riche Music, Nebulon and the Color of Sound collective. He is also founder of the MiniRave concept, where he organizes parties in as small a location as possible.

He can also be heard regularly during his pop-up radio show ‘Lastmanstanding’ in which he, together with various DJs, lets you bounce on innovative electronic music. People ever love him – or can’t stand him. Here at Dirty House it’s pretty obvious we absolutely love his energy and brilliant sense of nightly banter on the mic.
